Event Description
This is a different kind of cycle ride. It's aimed at getting women & girls who do currently cycle as a method of transport to get together on a leisurely cycle ride around the centre of Cambridge on a Saturday afternoon. Men are welcome, of course, but as recent Sustrans research showed, 79% of women in the UK never cycle. Cambridge bucks the trend for the UK and we want to celebrate that and capitalise on it by establishing an annual event known as 'The Style Ride'. Whatever your style, dress up or dress down as you please (& dress your bikes up or down as you please) and come & join us on this ride. There is no entry fee and we hope to have a free raffle with attractive prizes at the end of the ride.
